Manager returns to take reins at Woombye Bendigo branch

Woombye Bendigo branch manager Hayley Saunders.

After a number of years managing the Nambour branch of the Bendigo Bank, Hayley Saunders has been welcomed back to the Woombye branch as Manager.

“We are thrilled to have Hayley back in the Woombye branch once again,” said Director, Stephen Marshall. “She brings with her such a depth of experience and incredible energy for the role”.

“I am very happy to be back because the Woombye community is close to my heart,” Hayley said. “After managing the Nambour branch for the past two years I am excited to get to know the new Woombye residents and business owners in the area, and to catch up with old contacts”.

Hayley has a particular passion for the Bendigo Bank model and the way it serves the community. “When you choose to bank with Bendigo Bank you’re making a decision that also benefits your community. So as well as offering great banking products and personal service, it’s about helping to create vibrant, thriving communities,” she said.

“The best thing about my job is being able to ensure that our home loan customers are well looked after. Purchasing a home is probably the biggest financial decision you will make in your life and it is important to know that your bank manager has your best interests at heart.

“In my experience, people want to have long-term relationships with people at their bank.

“They want guidance around the best products to help them achieve their financial goals and they want to explore their options with someone they can trust.

“It is a privilege to have these relationships with our customers and to be part of their financial journey.

“Interest rates are starting to rise and now is the perfect time to have a look at what your current bank is offering and to give us the chance to do a full review”, Hayley said.

“I encourage people to do this on a regular basis to make sure they have access to the best products to meet their needs.

“The added bonus is that when you bank with the Woombye Community Bank, profits stay in the local area through sponsorships, events and grants. You have to bank somewhere, so why not bank locally?”.
