Lutheran Services’ Graceville Centre
Lutheran Services’ Graceville Centre has been providing mental health and disability support within the Nambour community for over 50 years.
The Gazette caught up with team members David Tyler and Toni Roselt at the recent Nambour Chamber of Commerce Coffee Catch-up at Frankies Cafe Woombye on Wednesday, July 3.
David, who joined Graceville just over 12 months ago after transitioning from a trade background, expressed his admiration for the organisation’s dedication. “I have been amazed by the amount of support, commitment, and genuine positive regard that the organisation gives not only their clients but also to their staff. The training, supervision, and leadership are second to none,” David said. He also shared his enthusiasm for the role. “I love going to work knowing I’m giving back to the community while helping people with mental health and disability challenges participate and live a full, meaningful life.”
Toni, who has been with the organisation for over 12 years, highlighted the benefits of working at Graceville Centre. “The organisation truly values its employees, offering excellent training and support. Our services are tailored to each individual’s needs, ensuring personalised care and support,” she said. “It’s incredibly rewarding to see the positive impact we make in our clients’ lives every day.”
