Bill the bear to accompany Nataliah to new post

Nambour Local Ambulance Committee (LAC) has bid a sad farewell to volunteer member Nataliah Zunica after she received news that she had been appointed to a permanent position as a paramedic at the Biloela Station.

President Gary Langford said Nataliah was a model volunteer in her time with the Nambour LAC and wished her every success in her new station.

In appreciation of her service, since 2020, Nataliah received a “Trauma Teddy” as a going away gift. She has called the bear “Bill”, short for Biloela.

Nataliah is breaking new ground as the first LAC volunteer member in the region (possibly the State) to gain a position with the Ambulance Service after qualifying as a Paramedic from Sunshine Coast University.
