One of the Sunshine Coast’s leading real estate agents has chosen 2021 to take ownership of a successful, established agency.

Tristan Brown acquired the Nambour-based RE/MAX Property Sales, which Steve and Nicola Perry opened in 2010 and grew into an award-winning office.

Mr Brown has a string of accolades himself, including as number one agent for one of the Sunshine Coast’s top agencies, Amber Werchon Property. “My years with AWP have honed my real estate skills and I’m personally indebted to Amber for her leadership and mentoring. I am ready for this step into agency ownership because of what I’ve learned while on her team.”

As RE/MAX Property Sales, Mr Brown can offer real estate services across the Sunshine Coast and further afield, with a focus on the markets of Nambour, Woombye, Palmwoods, Rosemount, Yandina and neighbouring areas.

He believes Nambour’s potential as a great real estate market is yet untapped.

“This town and its surrounds have tremendous opportunities for property owners, investors and residents,” Mr Brown said, “and real estate customers here deserve the same exceptional level of service anywhere on the Coast, and regardless of the property’s price tag.”

“I have been fortunate to be given the opportunity to purchase a high-performing established agency in Nambour, and equally to have Steve remain on the team as a lead agent and to assist with recruitment as we grow this great team further.”

Mr Brown’s goal is to be at the helm of the number one agency for market share in Nambour and outer reaches as he extends his team’s profile and reputation through the region.

“I was a high performing agent managing a team and Steve was selling a successful real estate business with an experienced team. The time was right. It was a logical step to invest in an existing business as an owner.”

Growth will include the relaunch of RE/MAX Property Sales property management division with experienced practitioner, Jody Chatillon, in the Business Development Manager role.

RE/MAX Australia Managing Director, Joel Davoren, recognised Mr Brown’s decision as two progressive and experienced real estate powerhouses coming together.

“It is exciting to have Tristan taking on the very strong platform that Steve developed and injecting fresh dynamic leadership.

“Real estate customers, the real estate team and our RE/MAX network are all beneficiaries,” Mr Davoren said.
