New Jetts Nambour owners plan complete gym overhaul

Jetts Nambour changed hands last week and new owners, Warren White and Jill Bingham are bringing experience and a passion for fitness and the Jetts model, to their members.

“We have been a part of the Jetts family for 12 years and we just love the model,” said Warren. 

“Both Jill and myself are personal trainers and we have previously worked for other clubs. But we felt really uncomfortable with the traditional model of lock in contracts,” he said. 

“Life tends to throw us all kinds of curve balls and sometimes people need to be able to easily cancel their membership. We have both experienced the distress and anger that inevitably occurs when people are not able to do this. It’s awful for everyone involved.

“The Jetts model is just so fair and flexible. There are no lock-in contracts, so there is greater freedom for members. I think that is what people appreciate the most,” he said. “We know that they also love the flexibility of being able to go to the gym, 24/7.”

Jetts Gyms are Australian owned and the model was developed locally, in Mooloolaba. 

“In our experience, this company attracts terrific, like minded people who are committed to helping members meet their health and fitness goals,” Warren said. “We love being part of it.”

Warren and Jill opened their first Jetts Gym in Peregian Springs in 2009, and then another in Coolum in 2012. At the end of November, the couple will commence a complete refurbishment of the Nambour gym.

“We are extremely excited about the renovation of the Nambour gym and we can’t wait to unveil it,” said Warren. 

“We will be replacing every piece of equipment and everything will be new and fresh. Our experience in this industry means that we have a really good feel for what is important to our members and we will be bringing that knowledge and experience to the Nambour gym. Now we get to meet our members, so there are lots of things to look forward to in the coming months.”
