$50K wedding giveaway headlines Maleny Wedding Festival Trail
HINTERLAND Tourism Sunshine Coast is gearing up to host the 2025 Summer Maleny Wedding Festival Trail, a two-day celebration of love and creativity on January 11 and 12, from 10am to 3pm daily.
Set against the stunning backdrop of the hinterland, the festival promises inspiration, excitement and a chance to win a $50,000 wedding package.
The Wedding Festival Passport allows couples to visit some of the region’s most picturesque venues, meet local wedding experts, and enjoy exclusive deals. Each venue visited earns a stamp, with passport holders entered into the draw to win the ultimate $50,000 wedding prize.
The package includes a $10,000 diamond from Maleny Jewellers, $18,000 towards venues such as Tiffany’s Maleny and Flaxton Gardens, a $5000 photography package, and additional contributions for styling, florals, and more.
“The Wedding Festival Trail is not just an event; it’s an experience that showcases the Sunshine Coast Hinterland as one of Australia’s most iconic wedding destinations. We’re thrilled to bring together our incredible venues and vendors to help couples create the wedding of their dreams,” said Hinterland Tourism Sunshine Coast President Kerry Brown.
“This year’s $50,000 wedding prize giveaway is our way of making someone’s dream wedding a reality. From a dazzling diamond ring to breathtaking venues and styling, this prize reflects the exceptional quality and creativity our region is known for,” Ms Brown said.
Couples will visit 13 amazing venues and open houses,gaining valuable advice from local vendors about bridal fashion, catering, entertainment, and décor. “Being face to face with our vendors lets couples discover the latest trends … so there is plenty of advice and support to help them pull together everything they need for their big day.”
With over 3000 attendees and more than 100 exhibitors expected, this year’s event is anticipated to be the best yet.
