Physios, exercise physiologists unite in new Woombye premises

Hinterland Physio Group – formerly Palmwoods Physio – has marked an exciting milestone with the launch of a new practice in beautiful Woombye.
“We are incredibly excited about expanding to a second location,” said owner William Hinds at the opening celebration on Saturday (August 12).
“But we aren’t taking on this adventure alone. We will be sharing this new clinic with the fantastic team from Connect Exercise Physiology in Woombye.
“We thought it was time for a name change to represent our new service areas covering Palmwoods, Woombye, Kenilworth and Kilkivan.

“But it is the same great team, with the same mission of providing our communities with personalised, quality care – just in more places!”
Connect Exercise Physiology has been providing health services to Woombye, Nambour and the surrounding hinterland area since 2014.
“Our exercise physiologists are accredited with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA) and are university qualified health professionals that use exercise as medicine,” said owner Jesse Ferguson.
“By joining forces with Hinterland Physio Group we’ll be able to provide a dynamic, multi-disciplinary centre offering seamless health care pathways.
“Exercise is an effective strategy to improve wellbeing for a variety of health conditions and chronic pain conditions.”
