Revamped Tavern unlocks watering hole’s potential

The Glasshouse Tavern has a great selection of spirits, and locally sourced craft beers on tap, as well as a range of signature cocktails.

Owners of the successful and much-loved Beerwah and Palmwoods Hotels Rick and Keri Gazzard recognised the untapped potential of the vibrant Glasshouse Mountains township and in early 2021 their company, Bayblue Management purchased the previously named Glasshouse Mountains Tavern.

“Rick and Keri had a vision to create a unique family-friendly venue at Glasshouse,” said Marketing Manager Cassie Orreal.  “They have years of experience in hospitality and have a  team of hospitality experts who were excited to revitalise the old tavern.

“Rick and Keri have engaged their winning formula of providing quality service, a welcoming space, awesome food and a family friendly pub environment,” she said. “The team quickly got to work and have completely refurbished and updated the venue with a spectacular new fit out”.

After months of planning and renovations the space has been stunningly transformed into an exciting new venue and it reopened for business on October 29 last year.

“The Glasshouse Tavern perfectly combines classic country pub with a refreshed modern feel,” Cassie explained. “Our talented design team have created a light, bright and inviting family orientated venue that mixes modern touches with an old-fashioned hospitality welcome. Our guests are raving about the new look, atmosphere and menu”.

If you love dining out, the Glasshouse Tavern has got you covered with an exciting lunch, afternoon and dinner menu that will tantalize your taste buds.

“Our incredible new Head Chef has designed a fabulous menu with something to satisfy everyone,” she said. “We have enticing entrees, mouth-watering small batch smoked meats, char-grilled steaks, artisan made to order pizzas and more. I think that diners will find our offering is unique to the area.

“We champion our region’s products and food producers, and look forward to sharing the best in locally sourced and seasonal produce with our guests”.
