Fred Brophy’s Boxing Troupe set to entertain Nambour in October

Nambour is gearing up for an exciting spectacle this October as Fred Brophy’s world-famous boxing troupe comes to town. The legendary troupe, known for challenging all comers, will be setting up at the Nambour Rugby League Club on October 4 and 5.

“Fred Brophy, renowned as ‘The Last Showman’, will lead his troupe of boxers in a series of thrilling bouts where members of the public are invited to step into the ring and take on the seasoned fighters,” said Committee Member Wendy Turner.

“The event offers an evening of unforgettable entertainment and a truly unique experience and this is the fourth year in a row they’ve come to Nambour,” she said.

“This is our club's major fundraiser and the chance to see this Aussie legend and his boxers taking on local punters is real bucket-list stuff - so don't miss out. Booking tickets is recommended as last year sold out! We can't wait to see Fred's big tent on the footy field.”

• Gates, canteen, and bar will open at 6pm each evening, allowing spectators to grab a bite, enjoy a drink, and settle in for a night of action-packed fun. For more information, visit the Nambour Rugby League Club's Facebook page. Tickets are now on sale via www.trybooking.com/CTUGL.
