Generosity and compassion drive gift giving at The Ginger Factory this Christmas

In recent years, The Ginger Factory has partnered with SunnyKids to help children and families in need.

“One of our wonderful visitors, Will, has been donating gifts to our Gift Of Giving Tree for the last two years,” said Marketing Coordinator, Dani Els.

Will, who has just turned 20, started saving for the gifts in June this year by collecting cans for coins, which he put in his cookie jar.

Will is level 3 ASD and loves helping others, as the Nambour community and businesses have helped raise funds for Will’s assistance dog. Will has received a SmartPup named Tallis.

“Will has the biggest heart and such a zest for life,” Dani said.

“He is grateful for the incredible life he has and his wonderful family, and loves to donate to SunnyKids as he knows there are lots of kids worse off.

“I believe last year Will asked his guests to buy a gift to give to SunnyKids instead of buying him a birthday present. He embodies the spirit of paying it forward,” she said.

“He is truly a generous, caring and remarkable young man.”
