Woman’s Day Breakfast at Homegrown Cafe Palmwoods
An International Women’s Day Breakfast will be held March 8 at Homegrown Cafe Palmwoods.
Hosted by Palmwoods Psychology (palmwoodspsychology.com.au), supported by Mindstar this is the third year the event has been staged at Homegrown Cafe, where locally grown and ethically sourced food is the priority.
This year’s speaker is the Sunshine Coast’s Sustainable Business Woman of the Year 2023 - Jacqui Atique. Jacqui is the CEO of ECOllaboration (ecollaboration.org.au) an environmental not-for-profit that operates across South East Queensland.
Jacqui is passionate about improving the resilience of the natural environment to ensure it is protected for future generations.
She enjoys drawing on people’s passion and motivations for environmental protection and restoration.
As is the tradition for these events, the speaker can choose the charity and this year it is 1millionwomen.com.au, an Australian movement designed to support women from across the globe “to live climate action through everything they do”.
There will be live music by Phoebe Rose, raffles and amazing company. Events starts at 7am. Tickets via events.humanitix.com.
