Churros on the menu at Burnside Community Twilight Markets

This Friday night (July 7) join families and friends at the Burnside Community Twilight Markets.

The good news is there’s a new food truck in the mix for the popular event. This time The Churro Shack, pictured.

“What could be better than eating warm churros and listen to some amazing local artists,” an organiser said.

The markets are on for three hours at 86 Windsor Road, Burnside.

“Anyone  can come bring a picnic rug and enjoy food, music and markets with your community.”

Markets include a free jumping castle for kids, live music, more than 30 market stalls and delicious food trucks.

The Hope Community Church introduced the Night Markets on their grounds to help people reconnect and local businesses get back on their feet in the aftermath of Covid.  The concept has proved successful with the Markets in December featuring 40 vendors, including food vans, and attracting over 4000 attendees.
