Buderim-Palmwoods Heritage Tramway Inc. held its annual general meeting on 14th August and re-elected Helene Cronin OAM, Noel Williams and Bruce Horton as President, Vice-President and Treasurer respectively. Kay Sinclair was appointed Secretary.

In her President’s report Helene said that the big highlights of the year were the painting of the Krauss loco, thanks to Cr Christian Dickson, the building of our new shed at Wises Farm to protect the loco while it awaits its permanent display in Buderim and also the publishing of our book Timber Trains Turmoil which will be launched on 29 August and which was made possible by a significant grant from Buderim Foundation.

Helene also outlined the main events we had participated in during the year including the launch of Sunshine Coast Council’s
Heritage Calendar; and St. Marks Church “Christmas Trees within the Church”.
