Street Art Nambour are working with the McGrath Foundation to produce a one off, very special artwork – made by printing real breasts onto a panel.

The upcoming Fuse Fest on Sunday 12th Sept at the Nambour Showgrounds is a celebration of all things creative and it is at the festival where anyone over 18 will be able to make a donation and print their breast onto the panel.

“We will be using acrylic paint and each printer will have the upmost privacy to complete their print,” said Street Art Nambour Marketing advisor Racheal Pascoe. “Both men and women will be able to make a print, including those who have had mastectomies and even those who don’t have a breast to print, we will have a water balloon they can make a mark with. No one will be left out.

“The end product will be a riot of colour and a celebration of life. Many people know someone who is fighting their best fight against breast cancer or even someone who has not made it through. This artwork will be a wonderful tribute to everyone touched by breast cancer. There will be the option to write the person’s name under each print to add that personal touch.”

After the event Street Art Nambour will donate the artwork to Breast Screen Nambour.
