Big Pineapple introduces eco-friendly pine mobile

The iconic Big Pineapple in Woombye is set to turn a new leaf with the launch of the Pine Mobile – an eco-friendly, 14-seat electric buggy that will once again take visitors on a tour through the magical rainforest, following the historic Nut Mobile route.

A spokesperson said current workplace health and safety regulations prohibited use of the old Nut Mobile, but the new eco ride offered a modern, sustainable way to relive a cherished piece of our heritage. 

The new ride is designed to provide an engaging, environmentally friendly experience for visitors, ensuring they can enjoy the lush surroundings.

This fresh initiative is part of a broader effort to continually enhance the tourist experience and to celebrate the attraction’s legacy.
