Anzac Day 2025 Services
• Bli Bli: Bli Bli Anzac Day Main Service, 9am, at Bli Bli Cenotaph.
• Eudlo: Eudlo Community Anzac Day Dawn Service will be conducted at the Memorial in Rosebed Street from 5.15am for service commencing at 5.30am.
• Maleny: Maleny Anzac Day Dawn Service 4.24am. RSL Maleny Cenotaph.
• Maleny: Maleny Anzac Day March 10.30am March. From cnr of Maple and Fig Streets.
• Maleny: Maleny Anzac Day Main Service. Maleny RSL, 11am at Maleny Cenotaph.
• Maleny: Maleny Soldiers Memorial Hospital Anzac Day Service 9.30am, 17 Bean Street.
• Nambour: Nambour Anzac Day Dawn Service) 5.15am, Quota Memorial Park.
• Nambour: Nambour Main Service 9am, Quota Memorial Park.
• Palmwoods: Palmwoods Anzac Day March 4.15am followed by service at Palmwoods Memorial Hall, 1 Main Street at 4.28am.
• Montville: Montville Anzac Day Dawn Service, 5.30am, Montville Memorial Gates, Montville Village Green.
• Mapleton: Mapleton Anzac Day March 9.45am from Cnr of Wilga Court and Flaxton Road followed by 10am Main Service. Mapleton Memorial Park, 2 Flaxton Road.
• Witta: Witta Anzac Day Service, 8.45am, Witta Cemetery.
• Woombye: Anzac Day Dawn Service 5.30am.
• Woombye: Woombye Bowls Club Annual Anzac Day Breakfast from 6am at the Bowls club, Hill St.
• Yandina: Yandina Main Service 11am, at the Yandina Cenotaph.
Eudlo community invited to Anzac Day Dawn Service
The Eudlo Community Anzac Day Dawn Service will be conducted at the Memorial in Rosebed Street. Assembly from 5.15am for service commencing at 5.30am. Those attending are asked to please assemble on the flagpole side of the memorial and keep clear of traffic lanes. Due to the popularity of the Dawn Service last year Council permission has had to be obtained resulting in numerous conditions being applied.
Anzac Day Nambour services at Quota Memorial Park
All veterans, ex service, current serving and all community members are welcome to attend the 2025 Anzac Day commemoration services at Quota Memorial Park on Friday 25th of April 2025, hosted by Nambour RSL Sub Branch.
We will remember and honour the service and sacrifice of those who served our great nation during all conflicts. The Anzac tradition will be remembered from the first landings at Anzac Cove, Gallipoli on 25 April 1915 where the Anzac tradition was cemented, both World Wars and all subsequent wars and conflicts.
We will remember the 103,021 servicemen and women who paid the ultimate price during service with Australian units.
DAWN Service timings
• 0515 hrs- Sub Branch and Ex service assemble on Ann Street, (outside RSL Club),
• 0528 hrs- march to Walls of Remembrance, (Quota Memorial Park), service then commences,
• Breakfast available at RSL Club for those who have booked. (contact RSL Club- 54412366, or view their social media sites for relevant details), Main Parade, March and Day Service;
• 0830 hrs- Parade assembles in Howard Street.
• 0855 hrs- Parade commences with the march down Ann Street onto Mathew Street and entry into the Memorial Park. The service commences once all participants are assembled on the park.
You are welcome to line the streets of Howard, Ann and Mathew Streets to observe RSL members, veterans, Sunshine Brass Band, Army and Airforce Cadets, school students, 2nd Nambour Scout Group, Guides, Red Cross, Legacy and Antique Car Club proceed to the Memorial Park. (any person who wishes to attend the park but does not want to march are invited to ride in one of the antique vehicles in attendance on Howard Street).
Wreath laying invited at both services. Please note: it is the responsibility of any attending organisation or individual to bring their own water. Sun hat and umbrella advised. – Kim Symmons
