Purpose Real Estate’s Mel Thearle and Jacqui Slack deliver presents during the toy appeal

The Purpose Real Estate team were very proud to support the 92.7 MIX FM Annual Coast2Bay Housing Group Christmas Toy Appeal for 2021.

Each year Purpose Real Estate opens up the Nambour office to receive donations and the Purpose team volunteer at the Coast2Bay Tenant Christmas Party and assist to deliver gifts in the lead up to Christmas.

It all helps to ensure that all Coast2bay community and affordable housing families all receive presents for Christmas.

Purpose Real Estate Agency Manager Lindell Gittoes said the team were “blown away and very grateful” by the generosity of the Nambour community and businesses who donated so many toys and gift cards.

RISE 2 Project shows Real Estate can be a win-win

Purpose Real Estate is the Sunshine Coasts only a Social Enterprise real estate agency. When you choose to sell your property or use their property management services, you not only get exemplary service and competitive rates, at the same time you are helping to support the community.

“It’s a win-win for everyone,” said Agency Manager Lindell Gittoes.

“One third of Purpose Real Estate’s turnover is used to support projects for women and children impacted by domestic and family violence,” Lindell said.

Lindell said a primary focal point for Purpose Real Estate was the RISE 2 project (Restart In A Safe Environment) currently under way on the Sunshine Coast.

The RISE 2 dwellings will provide short-term accommodation facilities  for women and children impacted by domestic and family violence with ongoing support for up to 20 families and 50 children impacted by domestic violence each year.

The project is a combined initiative of the  Zonta Club of Caloundra, The Salvation Army and Coast2bay Housing Group.

Purpose also manages affordable rooming accommodation for women over 55 in Nambour which is currently at capacity.

“Purpose Real Estate have had an amazing year,” said Lindell.

She said buyer demand on the Coast was extremely strong and was set to be maintained  now that the borders are open.

“Properties are very much in demand. Many interstate buyers are choosing to relocate.

“The liveability and lifestyle of this region, along with infrastructure and development has generated a lot of interest in the real estate market, particularly in Nambour which is central to everything the Sunshine Coast has to offer.

“If you are looking for a Property Manager or Sales Consultant, or you are interested in finding out more about what we do, give our friendly team a call.”
