Experienced chef brings new flavours to Nambour RSL

With over 25 years in the hospitality industry, Nambour RSL Club’s new Executive Chef, Chadd Kitto, is ready and eager to bring positive change to dining-out in the region.

“I am looking forward to bringing excellence and quality to the table at Nambour RSL Club,” said Chadd. “I want to give all our members and guests an experience where they love to come for lunch and dinner and are proud to bring their friends to the best Club on the Sunshine Coast.”

Chadd has worked in a wide range of restaurants, hotels and clubs throughout Sydney. In the last ten years he was the Head Chef for Momento Hospitality Group at Hillside Hotel with the last four years as Head Chef for Royal Hotel Group at Gregory Hills Hotel.

“We are excited to welcome Executive Chef Chadd to the Team,” said Suzanne Long, Chief Executive Officer of Nambour RSL Club.  “He is extremely talented, with an impressive culinary background, and we are confident that all our guests will love what he brings to the table.”

Chadd has recently released a new menu for Altro Café which stars dishes such as pork bao buns, calamari salad, poke bowls, seared salmon and share options such as pizzas, loaded fries and nachos.

Later this month, he will launch the summer menu in Mosaic Restaurant which will include the menu favourites but will also feature fresh new salads, burgers, ribs, pasta and a refresh of the nightly specials.

Chadd creates all the menu combinations for the special events at the Club. One event not to be missed is the Wine Degustation Dinner on Thursday 25 November. It will be an evening celebrating gourmet degustation dining paired with matching wines. Chadd has tailored a six-course tasting menu which complements and accentuates the flavours of each of the wines selected.
