Easter Production at Sanctuary Park
The church at Sanctuary Park invites everyone to join with them to reflect on the Easter story on Good Friday. Sanctuary Park has over five hectares of undulating and tranquil gardens which will be utilised as a natural amphitheatre for an Easter production.
This production will centre on the Easter story from the perspective of Peter, Roman Governor Pilate, Mary Mother of Jesus and Mary Magdalene. Costumed characters will have their stories narrated as they reflect at each of the staged areas of the story.
A hot-cross bun and cuppa morning team will be served in the gardens following the production. BYO chair or blanket to sit on.
All visitors are welcome to roam through Sanctuary Park’s parklands. There is plenty of room for children to kick a soccer ball around as well as a fenced playground for younger children. Transport will be provided from the carparks for elderly and impaired visitors to be chauffeured to the lower-level seating area.
Entry to the 9am event is free and we expect this it will run for about 75 minutes. On Easter Sunday, Pastor Steve will conclude this Easter weekend production, focussing again on those four Easter characters. Sanctuary Park is at 22 National Park Rd, Nambour.
