Experience true Tibetan cuisine at Palmwoods Hotel

The delicious and unique flavours of Tibetan cuisine can now be enjoyed on Tuesday nights at the Palmwoods Hotel, following the addition of popular Chef, Jampa to the kitchen team.

“We are absolutely thrilled that Chef Jampa has joined our team,” said Marketing Manager, Cassie Orreal. “Many people on the Coast will be familiar with his delicious food, as he owned and operated The Spirit of Tibet in Mooloolaba for nine years, and Jampa’s Spirit of Tibet in Forest Glen, for many years.”

With roadworks on the Bruce Highway forcing the closure of the Forest Glen restaurant, Chef Jampa has moved to the Palmwoods Hotel.

“Chef Jampa is incredibly talented and experienced and we love having him on our team,” Ms Orreal said. “Patrons are so fortunate to be able to experience his Tibetan food, and Tuesday nights are becoming increasingly busy.”

On Tuesday nights, diners can order from the regular menu or dishes from the Tibetan menu.

“Chef Jampa makes everything from scratch, including his handmade samosas and Momos (steamed dumplings),” said Ms Orreal. “His curries are absolutely sensational, carefully blending traditional Tibetan spices with fresh meats and seasonal vegetables, and his signature dish, Shashi chicken, has become a favourite with everyone that tries it; myself included!”

You can book your table online by going to the website www.PalmwoodsHotel.com.au or calling 5445 9003.
