Self-storage facility snares prime Yandina location

A new state-of-the-art modern storage facility that has opened at Yandina is providing convenient storage solutions for residents across the hinterland and mid-Sunshine Coast.

Yandina Self Storage snared a prime location beside the Bruce Highway at Yandina, and is conveniently located for easy access to and from Sunshine Coast Airport, Coolum, Yandina and the local hinterland.

It even has attracted customers from Gympie and Maroochydore.

“We saw an opportunity in the market place that could be filled by a storage facility,” Yandina Self Storage Manager Matthew Moore said.

“The Sunshine Coast is growing, there’s a need for quality secure storage, and we are positioned in an easily-accessible location just west of the new airport and on the connection road from Coolum to Yandina.

“We’re brand new, we have easy Bruce Highway access, all our storage units are drive-up easy access, and we’re on the north side of the Sunshine Coast. We’re very proud of the facility and the customers love it too.”

Yandina Self Storage is the largest and newest facility of its kind on the Sunshine Coast. It has 15,000m2 of concreted outdoor storage area and 7000m2 of indoor storage. It provides insulated and non-insulated garage-size units, with the outdoor storage area able to serve bigger items like containers, vehicles, caravans, boats, and similar items.

Yandina Self Storage also provides packing merchandise like cardboard packing boxes, packing tape, protective coverings for furniture and more.

“It’s a time of super growth locally; estates are popping up everywhere on the Sunshine Coast, it’s a great place to bring up kids and the schools are plentiful,” Mr Moore said.

“Families are moving and we help them in this transition, some people just have all the best toys but no place to put them, so we help out there too.”

Yandina Self Storage opened for business on April 1. It has just passed 100 trading days and is already 32% full.

“It has been a great response from the community to our new venture and we thank them for storing with us,” Mr Moore said.

The facility provides 24/7 access, has full CCTV security monitoring and an on-site manager.
