The Yandina Historic House Art Gallery would like to invite you to visit their first art exhibition for 2023.

The “Sunshine Coast Summer on the Beach” exhibition that commenced on Saturday January 21  until February 21. The exhibit hosts a range of beach-themed artworks, from stunning paintings and photography of the beach to fun loving pottery surfing dogs and cheeky mermaids.

With over 30 local artists work on display in the gallery there is something for everyone to enjoy.    Visitors who attended the opening day event on Saturday had the very serious role of chosing their favourite artworks in the People’s Choice Awards.

The votes have been counted and the winner of our 2D People’s Choice Awards is  Bryce Bishop for his beautiful framed print of his photograph “Golden Afternoon” and the winner of the 3D People’s Choice Awards is Yandina pottery artist Toni Bielby for her hand sculpted “Eight Surfing Hounds”.

A special thank you to sponsors Yandina Art and Framing and the Clay Shed for the donation of prizes and to Kustom Paints and Industrial Woombye for donating paint to brighten up the gallery.

The exhibit will run from 21st January to 21st February at Yandina Historic House. Entry is free. Opens Mon-Sat 9.30am-2.30pm 3 Pioneer Rd Yandina.  Come have a lovely Devonshire Tea, browse the artworks and handmade crafts in the house, then take a little stroll along the path behind the house and visit the Yandina Museum.
