Last Call for Christmas: Church show brings the cheer

Suncoast Church is in the midst of preparing for their next instalment of their annual Christmas Show entitled Last Call for Christmas

This year’s story is set in an early 70s Australian airport with a Hollywood actor, an expecting father, a high powered businesswoman and two young lovers all stuck in a terminal on Christmas Eve, working out how they can make their way home.

With a scenario all can relate to, the show’s central themes of hope and redemption are interwoven with joy and Christmas cheer are sure to please audiences this year.

The live action show features song, dance, drama and the best artistic talent the Suncoast community has to offer.

There are five showtimes to choose from: four night-time shows and one morning matinee. With free admission, tickets can be booked at Suncoast.org.au/Christmas-show

“With 2021 being a year that continues to be hard for many, we want to remind everyone that you don’t have to feel stuck,” said Showrunner and Producer Mark Dunlop.

“This year’s show is designed to bring you all the warmth and joy that the Christmas message can bring with all the fun and cheer that comes with a show.”

Lead Pastor Jonathan Gullo said Christmas reminded people of what’s most important in life. “And as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, it’s a great way to remember that hope can come even in the most tumultuous of times – even through the birth of a child.”

Show times are: December 9  6.30pm Show; December 10  6.30pm Show; December 11  6.30pm Show; December 12  10am and 6.30pm Shows.
