The 105ha sand site is bordered roughly by Maroochydore Road to the south, Eudlo Creek to the north, and straddles Eudlo Flats Road.Michael Mullins, head of Maroochydore Sands, has advised the Gazette that some concerns had been addressed by conditions implemented by the State Government, while other concerns would be considered by Council.Despite the assurances, the opponents are not backing down in their campaign to stop to project. The matter is expected to come to Council in July or August.Mr Mullins urged interested community members to review the company’s website: www.maroochydoresands.comSenator Lazarus’s office has been contacted for further comment.
