Second little pantry for people in need

Members of the Blackall Range Woodcrafters Guild have kindly built a second Little Pantry for Maleny Neighbourhood Centre.

Centre President Ian Demack said the  pantry now takes pride of place beside the original pantry inside the front fence. “It is stocked with basic foods for those in need,” he said. “After the pantry was installed, I had a chance to speak with Rick Vickers, the Woodies’ Events Organiser. He explained how the more experienced members mentor and assist the newer members, ensuring that they can operate the equipment safely.”

So, if you have a hankering to turn some pieces of timber into something as beautiful and functional as MNC’s new Little Pantry, get in touch with the Blackall Range Woodcrafters Guild. They will arrange for one of their experienced Recruitment Officers to show you through their shed at Montville, and explain how everything works.
