Company expands Witta facility, makes strides in safety and printing industries

Managing Director Marvin de Mendonca makes safety gear at the Witta facility and has now set his sights on the local business sector, diversifying into wide-format printing.

Since 2019 Maleny company Savitrek has gained recognition as a leading manufacturer of safety products for outdoor enthusiasts.

Now, the company is taking a step forward by venturing into the mining, construction, manufacturing and transport industries by offering hi-vis safety products.

Moreover Managing Director Marvin de Mendonca has set his sights on providing large print signs, banners and promotional materials from an expanded manufacturing facility in Witta.

His dedication stems from a passion for creating local job opportunities and giving back to the community. Over the past year and a half, Savitrek has made donations to various charities including Drought Angels, Dolly's Dream, the Royal Flying Doctor Service and 4WD event “A Long Drive for Drought”.

“After introducing a multi-purpose blanket that gained popularity in the camping and outdoor recreation industries, we expanded our offerings to include an array of safety products such as hi-vis bands, wraps, vehicle flags and document holders,” said Mr de Mendonca.
