BUSINESS WRITEUP: Sacred Body

After two years of steady growth, Palmwoods’ Sacred Body has expanded into a newly refurbished clinic in Montville.

“I had been feeling that a move was necessary for the growth of the business for some time,” said founder, Linda Goggan. “We have had such wonderful local support that I needed more therapists, service offerings and treatment rooms. Earlier this year when the building was sold, I was forced to stop procrastinating! It was extremely synchronous, as these things usually are.” 

After an exhaustive search for the perfect place, Sacred Body found a new home in Montville.

“This clinic has been such a find,” Linda said. “We have poured our hearts into the fit out and I hope that our clients find it to be a place of repose, stillness and rejuvenation. It has certainly been designed with that purpose in mind.” 

The new space features a massage room, a purpose-built couples treatment room, a beauty therapy room and a sumptuous private, mini bathhouse.

“We are so happy about the look and feel of the clinic,” said Linda. “The bathhouse is just gorgeous. We have put the Far Infrared Sauna in there, along with an aromatherapy steam shower and a magnificent deep bathtub.

“We can now offer mineral baths and we add magnesium, essential oils, organic coconut milk and locally grown, organic roses to the water. The experience of soaking in that tub is blissful. It is so luxurious and restorative. I find that mums in particular love it because although most of them have a bathtub at home, almost none of them use it to relax in.” 

Beauty therapist, Sheri Respondino offers her beauty treatments from the Montville clinic and massage therapist Mary-Lou Reed joins Linda to offer massage.

“Mary-Lou also works on the esoteric level to bring healing to her clients,” said Linda.

“We are excited for our existing clients to come and enjoy their treatments in our new clinic and we can’t wait to welcome new clients to the Sacred Body experience.”
