Aaron Chant, a young car enthusiast from Forest Glen, recently drove his beautifully restored 1931 Ford Model A to Secrets on the Lake in Montville, sparking nostalgia for George Johnston, the venue’s long-time owner.

When George, who restored a 1928 Essex over five decades ago, saw Aaron’s Ford Model A, he was impressed with the quality of the restoration.

Aaron’s work on the classic car has garnered significant attention, earning him the “Youngest Driver Award” at this year’s Australia-wide vintage car rally in Queensland. 

His passion for vintage cars and his dedication to the craft stood out, with George enjoying a ride in the immaculately restored vehicle, a moment that took him back to his own days working on classic cars.
