Popular barber now cutting hair in Woombye

Popular hairdresser Amanda Drewery from Nambour, pictured, is now cutting at the Woombye Barber Shop next to the Post Office.

“Woombye is a great little town and I am thrilled to be part of the community,” Amanda said.

Woombye Barber Vikki Glasson, who founded the shop 12 years ago, said she was delighted to welcome Amanda. “Many people were wondering where Amanda would end up. Well the mystery is over and we can confirm she is cutting at The Woombye Barber Shop,” said Vikki.

Amanda brings 35 years cutting experience to Woombye “as well as a great reputation and following”. “Amanda will be a great addition,” said Vikki. “She is very likeable and I’ve no doubt our customers will love her.”

The shop runs on a non-appointment basis so customers just need to step in for a trim.

▶ Open hours are on the Woombye Barber Shop Facebook page. But if you want to see Amanda, she will be there Tuesdays 8.30am5pm and Wednesday and Thursday afternoons 12.30-5pm.
