Nambour hiding in plain sight: Pinnacle development heightens interest in CBD

Nambour continues to capture the increasing attention of home buyers and property developers, according to Amber Werchon, Director of Amber Werchon Property .

Speaking on Friday at a pre-construction meeting at Pinnacle on Maud, Amber said buyers were keen to get in before the current property boom put the relatively-affordable Nambour out of reach. And Pinnacle on Maud, she said represented new levels of genuine value for money.

“For many buyers, Nambour has been hiding in plain sight. Our agency is in the unique position of having offices in both Mooloolaba and Nambour. There is enormous competition in the coastal areas, driving buyers from our coastal properties to enquire about listings here in Nambour.

“The opportunity to take advantage of this renewed interest has arrived with Pinnacle,” said Amber. “Pinnacle on Maud is a landmark development in Nambour, that represents exceptional value and makes perfect sense to buy instead of continuing to rent.”

With 40 two-bedroom units, Pinnacle brings a new style of dwelling into an area that has almost zero vacancy rates on rental properties.

Remaining units come with the option of a $455 per week rental guarantee from a third party, for buyers looking for investment purposes.

“We’ve had significant interest in this project from owner occupiers and investors alike,” Amber said. “From first home buyers to empty nesters looking to cash in on their capital growth and downsize into a low maintenance lifestyle that has been developed and built by Grandview. With the reinvention of Nambour in full swing, it’s logical that dwelling style starts to adapt to the changing nature of the township.”

Strong incentives

Buyers are currently presented with even further incentive. First home buyers may be eligible for a $15,000 State Government grant and have more time to pay in a moving market.

“With reassurance the area is booming and strong incentives, it is time to consider the opportunity available in Nambour,” said Amber.

With major healthcare and educational facilities, access to rail and the potential of a university campus, Amber said it was no wonder Nambour was on many buyers’ radars.

Expert real estate analysists like Sunshine Coast local Terry Ryder, have also got their eye on Nambour. He considers it a good place to buy for both home-buyers and investors, noting it is very under-rated.
