Italian tennis player transfers skills to Pickleball

Ludovica Sciaky, an accomplished tennis athlete from Milan, now based in Palmwoods, has made a striking shift to pickleball, a sport on the brink of Olympic recognition. Ludovica’s competitive spirit extends beyond the court into business ventures and literature, balancing her time between professional networking. 

As a major player in the world’s fastest-growing sport, Ludovica has clinched the title of MVP in Australia’s first professional pickleball team league, leading Brisbane Breakers to victory.  

Alongside her team triumphs, she’s been celebrated as Australia’s top pickleball coach in 2023 and has recently won the Italian Pickleball Championships. 

With a degree in Business Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Ludovica is on the verge of launching Standout Pickleball, her latest endeavor, following her co-founding role at Six Zero Pickleball.  

Her new project promises revolutionary paddle designs and technology, Over the last six months she has been rigorously testing over 120 paddle prototypes, with the collaborations with aerospace engineers and manufacturing specialists. 

Amidst her business and sport pursuits, Ludovica remains the head coach at KT Academy on the Sunshine Coast.  

Complementing her athletic and entrepreneurial endeavors, Ludovica trains with fitness gurus Nathan and Giselle Martin, who have tailored their expertise to pickleball.  

Through pickleballworkout.com, they offer an online fitness program where Ludovica contributes coaching tips, aiming to enhance players’ performance and injury prevention. 

Ludovica’s story is one of tenacity and transition, exemplifying how passion can forge paths in new, dynamic directions.
