Each year, the Palmwoods Community Branch accepts Sponsorship Applications from dozens of local community groups and organizations for funding which is used for various local projects.  

Since the inception of this funding program, the Palmwoods Community Branch has given hundreds of thousands of dollars back to community groups. 

In 2022, a record of $223,000 was handed to representatives from a broad range of organizations at a function hosted by the Palmwoods Hotel.

The sponsorship applications for 2023 are currently open  - but will be closing on May the 31st.  Sponsorship application forms can be collected from the Palmwoods Community Branch office, at 2 Margaret Street Palmwoods. Completed sponsorship applications need to be returned to the Palmwoods Community Branch by 31 May 2023. No applications will be accepted after the closing date of 31 May 2023.
