Owner makes a splash in competitive coffee market

Kate Dyce ... “It is one of the great things about business when smaller operators support each other. “

If you are a coffee lover, head to Post Coffee House in Burnside where the main event is coffee.

“Some years ago I was working in Brisbane and had become aware of Dancing Bean Coffee,” said owner Kate Dyce.

“People would come from all over Brisbane for this coffee which is a boutique product, roasted in Banyo. It has been renamed Coffee Roasters Collective, and I knew with such a quality product I was confident in making a splash in the highly competitive coffee scene on the  Coast.”

Post Coffee House caters for all tastes and dietary requirements. “We have 7 different types of milk and loads of gluten free options if you want something tasty to pair with your coffee,” Kate said. “I have sourced our beautiful fresh cakes and savouries from independent local suppliers. It is one of the great things about business when smaller operators support each other. The rising tide lifts all boats.”

At Post Coffee House, you can sit in, or there is a really lovely green space under the trees for you to enjoy your coffee.

“As you can see, we are also dog friendly,” Kate said. “Gus is our resident meeter and greeter, although these days, he prefers to lounge in his favourite chair and keep our guests company.

“You’d be surprised at how many people come and sit with him while they drink their coffee. It gives people a nice little opportunity to relax and unwind.”
