Grammy-winning jazz vocalist Nicole Zuraitis to perform in Maleny this October

Zuraitis won a Grammy for Best Jazz Vocal Album for her album How Love Begins.

Maleny will play host to an extraordinary musical event as 2024 Grammy Award-winning jazz vocalist Nicole Zuraitis takes the stage for her only Sunshine Coast performance on Sunday, October 13, at the Maleny Community Centre.

Zuraitis, who won the Grammy for Best Jazz Vocal Album for her critically acclaimed album How Love Begins, is set to deliver an unforgettable performance of original songs from the award-winning album.

This special concert, presented by the Maleny Arts Council in collaboration with the Brisbane Jazz Vocal Festival, marks a major coup for the region. Zuraitis, a renowned singer-songwriter, pianist, and arranger, has made a significant mark on the jazz scene, regularly performing at iconic New York City venues such as Birdland and Dizzy’s Club at Lincoln Center.

“Bringing an artist of Nicole’s calibre to Maleny is a fantastic opportunity for local audiences,” said Claire Booth, President of the Maleny Arts Council. “It promises to be a thrilling show, and we encourage jazz lovers to book their tickets early.”
