Nambour News & Casket where a staff member was allegedly threatened with a knife by a woman demanding money.

TWO people have been charged over significant crimes committed in Nambour during the past month.
A 38-year-old woman was arrested over the armed robbery of Nambour News and Casket on Currie Street on Monday, February 10, about 10am.
The woman allegedly threatened a female staff member with a knife and demanded money, forcing the attendant to open the till before grabbing money and fleeing on foot.
She was taken into custody a short time later at the Coolum Beach Hotel.
A 21-year-old man has appeared in court over two attempted car-jackings in late January.
He allegedly approached a man and his girlfriend at the intersection of Sydney and Howard Streets on January 25, making threats and demanding the keys to their car but they managed to drive away.
It is alleged he had earlier approached a 21-year-old man in a shopping centre carpark and asked him for the keys to his car but the victim refused.
A photograph taken by one of the alleged victims led to the arrest of Jayden Bartz, who has been remanded in custody until May 1 on a string of charges, including attempted robbery and stealing.
