Here’s an opportunity to support homeless people

Nambour Aus Living Support volunteer Marg Hotz prepares stock for disp-lay.

Nambour’s Aus Living Support is a 100 percent local charity supporting the homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless.

The Nambour Store is one of the largest Op shops on the Coast with a great range of stock and  a Baby and Kids Section.

“Supporting us through our stores means you are supporting your local communities across the Sunshine Coast,” said Fundraising Director Leanne Harrison.

“If you are looking for an Op Shop which is well stocked, great prices and unique pieces we are the Op Shop for you.  By shopping with us in turn you are giving back. Our funds only support our local families from Caloundra to Gympie, so your money stays right here on the Coast.”

Attention Lego collectors

If you are a Lego collector, come and check out the Charity Bricks Room at Nambour Aus Living Support Op shop. It’s open Tuesdays and Saturdays.

“If you need that certain Lego piece you are sure to find it here.”

“This Christmas season is going to be especially tough for our local families that are at high risk of becoming homeless through no fault of their own, we are seeing a large number of families in need.

“There are many reasons homelessness occurs but with the support of our Sunshine Coast residents we can make this Christmas season special for many families by keeping them from sleeping in their cars.”
