T’is the season to kickstart your Christmas shopping! 

This year you can experience the magic of Montville and the spirit of Christmas at the village’s special Montville Unwrapped Twilight Shopping Event on November 17. 

There will be carollers, musicians, Christmas wrapping, raffles, Christmas Art workshops for children and in-store specials to add to the festive fun.

Look out for the free shuttle to the top end of Montville near the Visitor Information Centre. “We have free parking throughout Montville including Russell Family Park car park,” said Montville Chamber of Commerce President Shiralee Cooper. 

“It’s a chance to bring your Christmas shopping list with you and do your Christmas Shopping Hinterland-style.”

Shiralee said most shops were staying open until 7pm Friday, November 17. 

“Christmas shopping can be a joy for everyone if you do it in Montville, especially in the cool of the evening. If you start your Christmas shopping in our boutique shops, you’re sure to enjoy the experience. There are so many unique gift ideas for all ages, at prices to suit all budgets!”

Maleny Handmade & Artisan Christmas Markets

The Maleny Handmade & Artisans Christmas Markets will be packed full of festive stalls and Christmas-themed items over three days from November 10-12.

There will be stalls selling handmade goodies, and everything from Christmas wreaths to gingerbread houses.  Handmade artists, makers & designers bring beautiful quality handmade products that you will love to give and love to own!

It’s on Friday 10 November, from 10am to 3pm and Saturday 11 & Sunday 12 November, from 9am to 3pm at the Maleny Community Centre in Maple Street.

Montville Christmas Fair

One of the largest and most popular Christmas markets on the Sunshine Coast, the Montville Christmas Fair will transform the Montville Community Hall into a winter wonderland from Saturday 5 November to Sunday 6 November.  Presented by Sunshine Coast Arts & Crafts the Christmas Fair is on  at the Montille Village Hall. Choose from locally made crafts. There’s an awesome Christmas Hamper Raffle as well as yummy treats at our onsite cafe. It all happens from 9am-4pm at the Montville Community Hall, Main Street, Montville.
