Palmwoods’ hidden gem, The Little Book Nook, celebrated its first birthday recently. Owner Manager Kay Nixon said guests enjoyed a lovely evening in the courtyard and the garden

“We are so grateful to all our faithful followers and look forward to the new regular customers that discover us,” she said.

“It is such a lovely setting here and gradually my previous customers from Books of Buderim are finding us.”

Kay said the business had adapted when COVID struck and was proud to be providing wholesome offerings for people in isolation.

“It hasn’t been an easy year with COVID but providing deliveries and having the space around us for people to safely relax has allowed us to keep going and provide a haven during this difficult time,” she said.

“Plus books and games have been a great source of entertainment, escape and inspiration for all ages.”
