Woombye celebrated all things 50s and 60s on Sunday afternoon (May 7) with a Happy Days Town Festival centred around the town’s School of Arts Hall.

The crowd was entertained throughout the afternoon by the Classic Car Club, 50s and 60s market stalls, and free dance workshops courtesy of Cool Cats Oz.

The Rocknrollabillys, The Wild Ones, The Rhythm Rats and DJ Daddy Cat kept toes tapping as the crowd enjoyed delicious food from Grounded at Woombye, All Fired Up pizza and a vintage Mr Whippy icecream van.

The Happy Days Festival was the first of what is planned to be an annual event for Woombye.

It was sponsored by the Community Bank Woombye & Districts and the Woombye Community Business Assoc.
