Bread lovers will be happy to know that German Bakehouse loaves are now available from Gatherer, on the corner of Howard and Currie Streets, Nambour.

“I just love German Bakehouse bread,” said Gatherer owner Debra Lawson. “It is a staple of my diet. It is baked with traditional recipes that have been used for over 50 years. The range and quality are outstanding, and the bread is wonderful value. It’s real food.”

Debra will be stocking loaves of their classic rye/wheat and white sourdough on the shelf, plus Danishes.

“Otherwise, people can order online from the bigger range, and it will be available for pick up from Gatherer on Wednesdays. This will guarantee they get what they want every time,” she explained.

“The German Bakehouse will also be supplying me with salad bowls and Mediterranean grilled veggies for takeaway lunches,” said Debra. “I am excited to be serving delicious Eumundi coffee and the Noosa Power Ballz range of healthy slices. It’s nice to be able to offer food that is quick, healthy and delicious!

“Right now I can only serve takeaways but I will be getting a little bar area built inside and applying for a dining licence once Council brings that in next month. So seating is coming soon.”

Besides being a place to grab great coffee and now sourdough breads and pastries, Gatherer stocks affordable, beautiful designer boutique fashion, footwear, groceries, cold drinks, unique gifts, makeup, skincare, jewellery and much more.

“I love the fact that there are so many fabulous privately-owned businesses in Nambour, especially in and around the CBD,” said Debra. “And it is terrific to see locals rediscovering what is on offer. After a very trying couple of years, I know that small business owners like myself really appreciate the support of our local residents and we work hard to provide offerings that are quality and unique.”
