They came from out of the woodwork to take on Fred Brophy's best. They left bruised and battered but with the admiration and respect of a crowd of nearly 400 people who packed the fight marquee set up on the footy field at Nambour Crushers last night.

Local challengers from Nambour, Woombye, Palmwoods and further afield duked it out with the experienced Brophy's crew, much to the delight and awe of the crowd.

A Fred Brophy crew member said it was one of the best organised events they'd attended and gave full credit to the team from Nambour Crushers for hosting such a great night. All funds raised go to the club.
