Brand new Forest Glen Village Centre taking shape

Developers say the shopping centre heralds a new era of relaxed yet sophisticated family-friendly retail for the hinterland.

Forest Glen Village Centre is set to integrate the hinterland commercial hub into a new multi-million dollar master-planned medical, retail and shopping development.

Samuel Hoy from Ray White Commercial Norther Corridor Group & Wendy Sheahan from Reliant Property said the Centre heralded a new era of relaxed yet sophisticated family-friendly retail for the hinterland.

With three stages of development planned, the precinct was set to become a vibrant, living heart for the surrounding community, they said.

The 6.6ha site will deliver more than 15,500m2 of mixed retail, commercial and industrial space.

Stage 1 has started construction with an estimated delivery of quarter four 2022. Upon completion, the project will deliver more than 2000m2 of retail including an IGA Supermarket and a 2500m2 health precinct. Other tenants include a doctors’ practice, national pharmacy, dentist, hairdresser, gym, bottle shop and mixed food vendors.

There will be more than 200 car parking spaces and the centre will be set against a backdrop of lush forest and with plenty of greenspace to relax and unwind.

Samuel and Wendy said the project had less than 30 percent availability and there was commitment from some of the Sunshine Coast’s leading businesses as well as national brands.
