Delicious local Seasonal Set Menus return to Flaxton Gardens

Flaxton Gardens has just launched their March/ April seasonal set menu and is excited to showcase fresh, local produce in a range of innovative and unique dishes.

“Our seasonal set menus have always been very popular with diners and – with the bi-monthly change of every menu – I am blown away by the creativity of our chefs, who uphold the motto ‘Honesty on a plate’.

“Our food is prepared on-site by locally born and raised Head Chef  Oskar Robinson who is passionate about supporting locals from producers to staff and customers,” said Business Operations Manager Mariana Thompson.

This season’s set menu with two and three courses includes dishes that are bursting with flavour and freshness.

There is something on the menu to please everyone, as can be seen from these dishes:

• Prosciutto and Fresh Grilled Peaches with a Roquette Salad and Balsamic Dressing;

• Confit Pork Shoulder with a Crunchy Apple and Smoked Potato Salad; and

• Poached Pear on a Honeycomb and Pistachio Crumble with Maleny Vanilla Bean Ice Cream.

“We always offer our signature house specialty, which is the Flaxton Speciality Souffle,” Mariana said. “The preparation and serving of this dish are quite ceremonial and there is no way we would drop it from the menu. It is much loved by our regular guests. Our very more-ish Cheesy Garlic Bread is also back by popular demand.”

The two-course meal is $44 per person and the three-course meal is $59 per person. You will enjoy a complimentary glass of Flaxton Grove House wine or Flaxton Grove Sparkling Brut when ordering the three-course meal.
