Endless Time Cafe closing amid C-Square reno plans

by Cameron Outridge

Endless Time Cafe, a local staple for nearly a decade, will close its doors on April 17 as major renovations begin at the C Square complex. The decision comes after 9½ years in business and follows an agreement with the landlord.

Owners Paul and Jean Smart confirmed that discussions with their landlord led to a mutually beneficial resolution.

“We’re closing up but basically it is a happy solution, we came to an  agreement between us and the landlord where we can finish trading amicably. We’re excited, we’re happy, but we’re also sad. All the emotions are in play,” said Paul Smart.
In a statement, the Smarts expressed mixed emotions over the café’s closure while also looking forward to what comes next.

“While it’s the end of this chapter, we’ll forever cherish the incredible support from our loyal customers. We invite you to visit us before our last day to share a coffee, a smile, and a final farewell.”

Upcoming family celebrations and extended holiday plans offer the couple a welcome break as they transition to the next chapter in their lives.

“Our daughter’s getting married at the Rocks at Yandina so we will be getting ready for that, which will be lovely.

“We’ll be able to have some time off with family coming from England and from Western Australia,” said Jean.
