A Range real estate agency is donating $5000 of its commission to the club or charity of choice of anyone who sells through them or refers a property to them.

The first recipients of Blackall Range Real Estate’s $5000 ‘Community Contribution Fund’ was The Lions Club of Maleny – Blackall Range, after the Club’s long serving member, Clarke Alexander, referred his friend Jo to the agency.

“After meeting with us, Jo decided to list her Mapleton property with us, which we then sold at $60,000 over the asking price,” said Principal Licensee Mark Henderson.

“We just want to give back because we live in such a wonderful community. We’re not in this business for the money alone and this was a chance to do something for our community at a time when the prices are strong.  

“If I was 30 years younger I might not be so generous but nowadays we’re quite happy to give back.  

“It comes on top of our lowest commission guarantee. It’s a win-win situation for us and for the person who buys or refers.”

Mark said initiatives like this were the reason  Blackall Range Real Estate was the fastest growing local agency in 2021.
