The Compass trainees and staff had a wonderful time last week at Bellflower Retirement Village, serving scones with jam and cream to the delightful residents.

“This event was held in collaboration with our valued partner, Unitywater,” said Compass Institute Executive Assistant, Alison Stockel.

The Unitywater team gave an insightful presentation to the residents, explaining the water and wastewater cycle, from its source, treatment, and management to what happens once it leaves as wastewater.

“They also shared information on Unity Water’s pensioner rebates, offering support to our senior community in these challenging economic times.

“The Compass Employability Skills team were excited to see everyone enjoying the homemade scones all while building their skills to gain and maintain employment,” she said.️
