With a background in farming and business, Kylie Pitt and Mark Cuthell have carried their country town ethics and values with them into Coastal Landscape Supplies. 

Mark and Kylie moved their young family to the Sunshine Coast from Narrabri NSW in 2008 to take over Coastal Landscape Supplies, which has been established for over 35 years.

“Our background has strongly shaped how we do business,” Kylie said. “We place great stock in old-fashioned country values, because we want every customer experience with our business to be a good one. As far as we are concerned, friendliness and good manners have never gone out of fashion.”

Located at Kunda Park, Coastal Landscape Supplies is a landscaping Trade Centre that has the largest and most competitively priced product range on the Sunshine Coast. 

“Because we work with trades and commercial customers and people on acreage and rural properties, we fully understand the importance of being able to supply large quantities of product with on time delivery,” Kylie said. 

“On those kinds of projects, the last thing anyone wants is down time because of unreliable deliveries. Also, due to the nature of those working environments, safety is key and we have all of the critical insurances, training and compliances in place.”

“We have a wonderful base of trades customers, but we could also see that because of our beautiful temperate climate here, outdoor living is really important. So we have geared our product range and services to those customers too.”

Kylie and Mark led the way in their industry in 2012 by introducing an easy to use e-commerce website that allows customers to browse and shop online, and arrange to either pick up or have products delivered. 

“We had no idea that COVID was coming down the line when we set up our website, but as it turns out, the e-commerce capability has allowed people to shop safely and get their projects done with zero contact if necessary,” said Kylie.

“Our priority is to deliver high quality products at the right price, exceptional value for money, honest and professional service and advice to ensure that you get the right product for your project, and all of it delivered on budget, on time, and with a smile.”
