The Buderim Craft Cottage is set to host its highly anticipated Art Expo, an annual highlight celebrating local artistic talent. From August 9 to 18, visitors can explore and purchase a stunning array of artworks created throughout the year by the diverse members of the Painting Group.

“We’re thrilled to showcase our latest creations,” says Jane Pinder, a representative of the Painting Group, which boasts around 50 artists ranging from established professionals to passionate beginners. “Our exhibition is not just about displaying art but also about sharing our love for painting with the community.”

The Expo features a wide variety of artworks for sale, including watercolours, acrylics, oils, and pastels, each piece reflecting the unique style and personality of its creator. From large abstracts to serene landscapes and vibrant mixed media, there’s something to captivate every art enthusiast.

“We invite everyone to visit, browse, and perhaps find the perfect piece for their home,” Jane adds. “And on weekends, don’t miss our popular Devonshire Teas, featuring freshly baked scones—a delightful treat to complement your art experience.”
