The Black Bunny Restaurant has successfully relocated to Burnside, delighting both old patrons and new visitors since its opening a month ago.

Previously located in Alexandra Headland, the Restaurant has taken over the former premises of Frank and Moss at 59 Perwillowen Road, rejuvenating the space with a vibrant atmosphere and community-focused ethos.

The Restaurant serves a variety of their signature dishes, with the “Mushroom Stack” and “Big Country Plate” being particularly popular.

The Mushroom Stack, featuring mushrooms, avocado, egg, and crumbled feta on sourdough toast drizzled with house-made balsamic glaze, and the Big Country Plate, a hearty breakfast including bacon, grilled tomato, mushrooms, baked beans, sausage, eggs, and toast, are standout choices for many patrons.

“We are excited to welcome back our loyal customers and meet new faces in Burnside,” said owner Glenn Elliott.

“The response has been fantastic, and we’re thrilled that everyone is enjoying our space,” he said, reflecting on the warm reception from the community.

As the Restaurant looks to the future, plans are already underway to enhance the outdoor spaces and introduce beer taps in preparation for the summer months.

“The more families that see we are here for them to be able to have quality time for themselves without having to worry about their kids being bored the better,” said owner Nikki Elliott. “We enjoy nothing more than seeing how happy the kids are, being able to play outside like the old days.”

The restaurant continues to offer a diverse menu catering to all tastes, from hearty breakfasts to indulgent burgers and fresh, innovative salads. With its commitment to quality and community, Black Bunny Restaurant is poised to become a staple in its new Burnside location.
