The Big Pineapple Music Festival is set to return on October 19th, promising an unforgettable day of music, food, and fun.

With a massive lineup featuring some of Australia’s top artists, including The Amity Affliction, Bliss n Eso, The Dreggs and Tones and I, the festival is a must-attend event for music lovers across the region.

In the lead-up to the festival, Nambour businesses are gearing up for a busy season. Rhonda Billett from IamNambour.com.au highlighted the excitement, particularly for local shops and salons.

“The Big Pineapple Music Festival is back, and it’s fantastic to see so many festival-goers ready to celebrate live music in our region,” Rhonda said.

“We’ve noticed that, based on previous years, Nambour’s op shops get busy with people searching for unique outfits. It’s the perfect time to check out our Op Shop Hop map on www.IAmNambour.com.au.”

Local hair salons, like Uptown Hair Studio, are also seeing a surge in bookings. “We’re getting booked up for festival hair braids, curls, and colours. It’s amazing to see the flow-on effect for our local businesses,” Rhonda added.

Uptown Hair Studio, in collaboration with KMS Au, is also offering an exciting opportunity for festival-goers.

In September, the salon will be giving away a $500 prize package, including a hair styling session for two on the morning of the festival, along with a selection of hair goodies. Details on how to enter will be available soon via their social media channels.

Festival attendees can also look forward to unique attractions like the stunning Lantern Parade, the new World Eats and Beats area offering exotic foods and global tunes, and the thrill of watching some of Australia’s hottest skaters at the Skate Jam. Plus, don’t miss out on dressing to impress for the Best Dressed at The Fest competition or trying your hand at the inaugural Great Australian Pineapple Toss. The day will wrap up with a massive Piney Sing-Along, filled with surprises, making this year’s Big Pineapple Festival a celebration of fun, flavour, and togetherness.
